Nails for Fun #59 – A Rainbow with the Rainbow Collection! / Enchanted Polish

Salut!

En ce lundi qui est aussi le dernier jour du mois d’août, trop étrange hein!, je vous fais cet article pour vous montrer le nail art que j’ai réalisé avec la Rainbow Collection d’Enchanted Polish. Si vous avez manqué les 4 précédents, je vous invite à cliquer ici, ici, mais aussi là et là 😉 Quoi de plus logique, pour conclure cette série de 5 nail arts tous réalisés avec tous les vernis de la Rainbow Collection que de faire un nail art arc-en-ciel? Alors c’est parti pour un nail art arc-en-ciel!

Pour ce nail art, vous n’aurez besoin de rien d’autre qu’un pinceau fin à nail art, et éventuellement de latex liquide ou équivalent 🙂

Comment j’ai fait?

J’ai appliqué une couche de base, comme toujours. Ici, la HoldFast Base Coat de chez Cirque Colors.

Puis, j’ai déposé une goutte du vernis violet sur mon tapis à nail art et avec un pinceau fin à nail art, je suis venue dessiner un demi cercle au niveau du bord libre, que j’ai rempli. Je me suis assurée de la largeur que j’allais donner à chaque couleur puisqu’il me fallait pouvoir caser 7 teintes par ongle. Cela a à peu près fonctionné en terme de régularité 😀

J’ai répété l’opération avec le bleu foncé, puis le turquoise, puis le vert, puis le jaune, puis l’orange, pour terminer avec le rouge! Bien sûr, j’ai nettoyé mon pinceau très régulièrement dans du dissolvant et j’ai renouvelé les gouttes de vernis quasiment à chaque doigt puisqu’elles commençaient à devenir pâteuse.

Aussi, petite note, j’ai dû appliquer 2 couches pour certaines teintes.

Enfin, dernière étape et la plus importante, j’ai laissé sécher pendant une dizaine de minutes je dirai et j’ai appliqué une grosse couche de top coat!

Hello!

Today is Monday AND the last day of the month of August at the same time -which is funny right!- and I am back here to post about the last nail art I did using the entire Rainbow Collection by Enchanted Polish. If you missed the 4 previous ones, please click here, here, but also there and there 😉 How could I best conclude this series of 5 nail arts using the Rainbow Collection other than doing a rainbow nail art? So here we go for a rainbow nail art!

For this nail art, you will only need a thin nail art brush and perhaps some liquid latex or equivalent 🙂

Step by step

As always, I started by applying a coat of base coat. For this nail art, I opted for the HoldFast Base Coat by Cirque Colors.

Then, I poured a drop of purple polish on my nail art mat and using a thin nail art brush, I painted half a circle to my free edge and I filled it in. I made sure of the width I could give to all the polishes as I had to place 7 different ones on each of my nails. I am not mad at how it turned out 😀

I repeated this step with the dark blue, the teal, the green, the yellow, the orange and the red polishes! Of course, I cleaned my brush in nail polish remover very often and I frequently poured a new drop of polish as they started getting goopy in between each nail.

Also, side note, I had to apply 2 coats for some shades.

Finally -last step and the most important one- I waited for about 10 minutes before applying a good coat of top coat!
