Nails for Fun #99 – Back to Chevrons, Picture Polish

Salut!

En ce moment, quand je pose un vernis, j’ai directement une idée de nail art qui me vient et ce fut le cas pour Rhysand! Cela faisait un moment que je n’avais pas fait un nail art chevron alors en voici un 🙂

Pour le réaliser, à part du striping tape, vous n’aurez besoin de rien donc c’est un nail art facile et rapide comme je les aime 🙂

Comment j’ai fait?

J’avais déjà 2 couches de Rhysand sur les ongles, top coaté.

J’ai posé du striping tape chevron sur tous mes ongles, pointe vers le bas pour le majeur et l’annulaire et vers le haut pour les autres doigts. A quelques millimètres du premier, j’en ai posé un autre au-dessus pour tous les doigts et en-dessous du premier pour le majeur et l’annulaire.

J’ai rempli le chevron le plus fin avec le vernis orange et j’ai retiré le tape de suite.

Ensuite, j’ai rempli le grand chevron avec le vernis vert et j’ai retiré le deuxième tape.

J’ai laissé sécher une bonne dizaine de minutes et j’ai top coaté!

Every time that I have applied nail polish lately, I have right away thought of a nail art to do with it and that’s exactly what happened with Rhysand! It has been quite a while since I did a chevron mani so here is one 🙂

Besides striping tape, you will not need anything else to do this easy and quick nail art so I am all about it 🙂

Step by step

I already had 2 coats of Rhysand with some top coat on.

I applied some chevron striping tape on all my nails, pointy edge towards the tips for the ring and middle fingers and towards the cuticule for the other nails. I applied another tape a few millimeters above the first one for all the nails and above the first one for the middle and ring fingers.

I filled in the thinner chevron with the orange nail polish and I removed the tape.

Next, I filled in the larger chevron with the green nail polish and removed the tape right after.

I let dry down for about 10 minutes and threw on some top coat!
